For once in a long time, Lindsay Lohan opted for a loose-fitting look. Cute jeans too!

Rihanna arrived at Milk studios in NYC. This is one of those once-in-a-blue-moon times that I don't like anything about her look. The hair, the outfit, and the boots don't do anything for me...or her.


                                                                                                                                                                       




























I am really feeling Audrina's look. Its a very simple outfit of a tee, ripped jeans, and booties, but this just comes to show that a good fit  alone can make an outfit work.


Who says that white jeans are just for summer?! I don't believe in locking up your white clothing all fall and winter long, but you should at least mix them with seasonal trends...that means lose the white tee and flip-flops Heidi.


Blake Lively was seen on the set of Gossip Girl wearing some great jeggings:


Beyonce arrived in South Korea to perform. This is a fun look for her. I don't love it, but its fun.

Here is the ad for Beyonce's Sasha not that Fierce line. Of course, the promotional picture is SOOOO much better than the actual line (click for photos of the underwhelming looks) and would make you think the line was really cute. Boo!

It looks pretty gross, so no one is allowed to shoot her from that particular angle anymore.”

It sure does look gross, so I'm not mad at her for that...shut that down Bey!

Oh, and Bey??? Baby powder, cornstarch, talc, whatever your flavor works too.

Last night's BET Awards were interesting to say the least. It is the first time that I have looked forward to them, watched then in their entirety, and was completely entertained from start to finish. While I think they could've done better, considering they took on the challenge of totally revamping the show in 3 days to honor Michael Jackson, I think the deserve beaucoup kudos.

So, here we go with the Red Carpet rundown...

The Good

Adrienne Bailon looked really striking in a short billowy mini... I love the color too!

 Taraji looked great in this one-armed slinky dress.


You know, usually Sherri Shepherd doesn't match her clothing with her body proportions very well, but she looked great last night!


Tatyana looked radiant, but I don't care if you're a size 2, if your silhouette isn't looking very smooth, Spanx should be your friend.


Zoe Saldana looked her usual chic self.

Miss Alicia Keys wore two similar style dresses, but I like the second one much better. Her hair looks great too!



Beyonce looked really good too. Her shoes were interesting though. I wouldn't wear them, but I can appreciate them.






And here is the Red Carpet nightmare of the evening: Amber Rose and Amerie wore the same Alexander McQueeen dress. Oh noooooooooo!!!!




The Bad

Here is Chaka Kahn and Monica rocking the Heat Stroke Chic look...


Ciara didn't impress me with either of her looks. Especially the three color blacks she's wearing in the second picture.


This summer denim dress and church usher glove is not doing it for me.


Keri Hilson's skin looks AMAZING! The dress? Not so much. Its way too busy.


The Ugly

Cassie, who's usually on my Best Dressed list, disappointed me. The hair, the dress, the loose-fitting boots, the over-accessorizing...need I go on???


*deep sigh* Oh, Lil Mama....

Whoa Melody!!!! Why would you want to give the illusion that your booty is hanging out? This is neither cute nor sexy! I'm still not 100% sure that her booty is NOT hanging out...

Ne-Yo's girlfriend, Tennille really is a cute girl, but you wouldn't know it from seeing her last night...


The Miscellaneous

 While not impressive enough to make The Good list, I thought that Kim Coles looked really nice.



I really like Tyra's outfit...for the workplace, not an awards show.

Queen Latifah, who usually keeps a low-maintenance look, looked really glamorous last night, and I liked it! I really, really liked it!

Here are the denim sightings this week:

Serena Williams was out shopping this week (for some more jeans thank God). Not a fan of these Diesel jeans she's wearing, but in her defense, I know it is very difficult to find clothing period that fits and flatters her curvy frame.



Rihanna had on a casual outfit for....babysitting???


Kate Bosworth was wearing a pair of really wide leg jeans. I typically like wide-leg denim, but not these. They just look sloppy. You can go for a non-fitted style, yet still have a clean tailored look.


Beyonce was out in London with her usual outfit of Balmain and ripped denim.


Newly split couple, Kanye West and Amber Rose were out in NoHo's American Apparel shopping for hoodies and sunglasses. Supposedly, he even borrowed a pair of scissors to cut off the sleeves for her on the spot. Fashion and chivalry...awww!!! Her jeans are cute too.

Beyonce has been the first celeb to catch my eye wearing jeggings (jean + legging = jegging). This cotton, polyester, and spandex hybrid is a cooler alternative to wearing jeans in the sweltering heat, as well as a stylish alternative for activewear. Topshop carries them and they retail for $40.

Both Beyonce and Lindsay Lohan have recently seen wearing these Balmain Biker Jeans. Beyonce wore them in Paris earlier in May at the Grand Palais in Paris, while Lindsay wore hers last weekend while running errands. As you can see, this battle comes down to a matter of overdone vs. underdone.




Honestly, I wanted to give it to Lindsay because it takes a true diva to wear such expensive pieces on errand day, and because I think that these jeans are detailed enough to carry an outfit on their own (Beyonce has a LOT going on with the draping, clear/silver platforms, and the crystal belt). BUT Lindsay blew it with those shoes so I have to give it to Bey.
