With warmer temperatures come lighter colors and jeans are no exception. In addition to gray denim, light-wash denim is re-emerging from the back of the closet.

As for the light denim that's popular with paparazzi-favorites, we're happy to report that there's not a single shape or style dominating this trend thus far. Star stylist Rachel Zoe showed off one of the wider pairs when she stepped out in Los Angeles last month wearing 7 For All Mankind's Super Flare Jeans ($180) in Ibiza wash. Zoe expertly played with proportion in her outfit; we love how she layered a tunic-length tank and cropped Ralph Lauren jacket over her belled jeans. While her exact pair is from 7FAM's Spring 08 collection, Twenty8Twelve's Celine Flare Jeans ($290) or Mango's Birkin Jeans ($80) will give you a similar look. Or you could pick up 7 For All Mankind's classic Bell Bottoms ($125) in the California wash and fade them yourself!

In addition to wide-leg or bell-bottom options, some celebs, like Lindsay Lohan and Mischa Barton, opt for slim-and-shredded styles. Lohan was spotted in an ankle-zip pair of Balmain's Balmain Acid wash ripped jeans ($2165) with Givenchy's Open-Toe Elastic Cord Wedge Booties ($795) while en route to a meeting in LA last month. Meanwhile in London, Mischa Barton turned up at the launch of her new handbag line wearing ASOS' Iggy Full Ripped Skinny Jeans ($50) with an equally goth-gorgeous pair of shoes, specifically Alexander McQueen's Grommet Booties ($1249). J Brand's Acid Wash Ripped Jeans ($218) and Silence & Noise's Ripped Twig Jean ($68) approximate the look of Lohan's haute jeans, while Current/Elliott's The Skinny Jean ($224) offers a stateside variation on Barton's British pair.

Our final example for today's trend comes courtesy of Rihanna, who recently wore Vintage1's Skinny Jeans ($198) while out and about in Manhattan. The brand (previously known as Pratt's Motor Spirit) will hit Singer22.com shortly, so in the meantime you can contemplate what sort of accoutrement you want to wear with your moto-style jeans. Or if you're impatient, just check out Unknown Factory's Biker Skinny Jeans ($198). The detailing is subtler, but the shade is still super light. Either way, the look is out of this world…

Singer, Estelle hasn't been in the world of music very long to establish her popularity or fashion icon-worthiness, but she is considering launching her own shoe line. "I love accessories," she said after having codesigned a bag with Jonathan Kelsey for Belvedere Vodka. The Belvie bag (pictured above), which retails for $1400, has a secret pocket to hold a bottle of vodka...*crickets* Unless you're an alcholic or totally classless, I don't think that this is a desirable feature for your bag.

Last year, I spoke about the cutoff trend, and the re-emergence of them this year seems to have sparked a little controversy about whether or not they should actually be back. The difference between this year and last year is that now they are truly cut off jeans. Sooo in the spirit of Recession Chic, you can create these from a pair of jeans that you no longer wear. I love the DIY!

I am so glad to see that the skinny jeans and jumpers are still in full effect because I love them both and am committed to wearing them as long as I look good in them despite what trend is next!

Here is Rihanna keeping a low profile leaving her hotel in NYC. This outfit is more low-key than we've seen from her in a long time, but I'm just glad to see her wearing any clothes at all after just having had her turn of the "Oh no! Somebody hacked into my computer and stole my naked pics..." scandal.

Beyonce wore light-colored denim while in Berlin to watch her sister, Solange perform. She must really like this tank too; I don't see her repeating clothing too often.

Beyonce may have a wardrobe big enough to fill an entire apartment, but she still claims to be a conscious shopper refusing to spend her hard-earned money on exorbitantly-priced items:

"My wardrobe is big. Put it this way, I've turned my old apartment into a closet.'The 27-year-old star - who is married to rapper Jay-Z - admits she gets a lot of clothes and accessories sent to her free from designers but insists she wouldn't be willing to buy them if she had to splash her own cash. She told Britain's Glamour magazine: 'I probably get about 15 bags sent to me a month. Armani gave me this croc bag, which was huge - I could only imagine how much that thing cost. It would be so expensive that even I wouldn't buy it.'There are some bags that are pretty hot. But then I haven't bought myself a Hermes Birkin bag because I think they are just too expensive."

Lets take note people: this is how the wealthy stay wealthy.

HOWEVER, to play devil's advocate, I also have to wonder if she'd have the same thrifty attitude if she wasn't wealthy, didn't have a wealthy husband, and wasn't sent all of the good stuff for free. Its very easy to say what you WOULDN'T do when you DON'T have to do it. Now I hope she was just speaking of the designer bags because considering the comfortable lifestyle the Knowles' led before the fame, I can't say that I could see "Beyonce-Who?", the regular chick from Houston living a less-than-designer life. When I was a young teen, my mom wasn't letting me cut up my pricey Girbaud jeans...:


Now this is just my opinion and I admit that I could be dead wrong about what she would've been so don't hate me extreme Beyonce fans. I just had to say something though because I like the rich to keep it real. As I've said before, you are not just like us and its okay! Soooooo okay!
