London-based avant-garde designer Hussein Chalayan has signed a collaboration deal with premium denim firm J Brand. That's right, he's doing JEANS now *crickets*. The women’s styles will be retailing in the fall.

Now this should be interesting. Avant-garde is the opposite of RTW (ready-to-wear), so this is so out in left field for me. I imagine that we'll know them when we see them though. Designers are pulling out ALL of the stops to make some $$$.
