....well perhaps I should've named this post "WeekS in Denim," as holiday time brings holiday parties which give us a poor denim scene. However, I've managed to find a few looks:

On Monday evening, Glamour hosted its 2009 Women of the Year Awards. So you know what that means...

Here is my take on the fashion:

The Good

Ms. Rihanna killed it in this Stephane Rolland gown.

Serena Williams looked vibrant and beautiful in this red Pamella Roland gown.


Katharine McPhee caused quite a stir with the blonde hairstyle, but this great BODYAMR gown stole my attention.



The Bad

I LOVE Stella McCartney, but this look leaves much to be desired. Besides, even she confessed to a fashion faux-pas saying her dress was a little too short.


Same for Kerry Washington. Love her bunches, but this Fendi dress isn't doing much for her.

I think it may be a combination of the color of this gown with her hair and complexion, but this Stella McCartney only served to age and wash out Amy Poehler.


Why are the people I love doing this to me??? Zoe Kravitz underwhelmed me as well.



The Ugly

Marisa Mayer, VP of Search and Experience at Google is a brilliant woman, but this Oscar de la Renta color and texture medley was NOT a brilliant wardrobe decision.



The Miscellaneous

So, I'm not eating up this look from Jason Wu, but Iman always looks stunning. Life can be so unfair sometimes.

Paris Hilton was seen in a some denim print leggings. I am actually really liking these too. They would look even better on someone with a little booty. And, the best part? You can get them here for only $33!


Zoe Kravitz performed this weekend in NYC her ripped denim.


Megan Fox had on my favorite Siwy ripped jeans.


Now THIS is a rarity...Mariah Carey in jeans??? Bootcut is never a bad look, but I'm surprised that she didn't do a skinny leg. I suppose her recent weight gain made that a bad idea, but can we at least get a straight leg?


La La looked cute in her jeans...she's really stepped up her fashion game recently. Maybe its the extra publicity that surrounded the playoffs when Denver was in it.


Janet Jackson was spotted on two occasions rocking an extra baggy boyfriend capri type look...and I can't say that I'm liking it. And I'm not even going to touch on this double denim thing...AGAIN!



Rihanna was seen leaving the Playboy office building. Bulgari and realty offices are said to be in this same building, so I'm thinking that she was at one of the latter. Afterall, we've already seen her goodies on display for free thanks to the semi-nude photos that Chris Brown recently leaked.
